My wife is a local business owner, who has bought hundreds of cakes from Eston’s for clients, friends, and family over the last several years. Recently, we ordered a raspberry royale wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding. After driving across the country for her wedding and slicing the cake on her special day, we realized that the cake was incorrect. They gave us a strawberry cake not a raspberry cake. On a normal occasion we would let this slide but considering it was my daughter’s wedding we confronted the owner. She told us we were wrong and that they changed their recipe, sending photos of the raspberry royale that didn’t even match the color of our cake. As someone who bought the raspberry royale and the strawberry cake several times in the previous weeks, we would know the difference between their strawberry and rasberry cakes. Rather than taking accountability for their actions, Eston’s management shows horrible customer service, calling their customers liars even after eating their cakes more than they do. This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and if I could have given 0 stars I would have. WILL NOT RETURN.
